Approach Navigation Systems Inc.(ANS Inc.) is a Canadian corporation offering technical consulting services to the aviation and transportation community worldwide. Headquartered in Moncton, New Brunswick ANS Inc. has the capability and expertise to successfully implement any project in the fields of air navigation, airport communications and lighting, automated weather observation systems (AWOS) for aviation, and roadway weather information systems (RWIS).
CAPABILITIES: Specializing in aeronautical electronics and airport support equipment, ANS can supply, install, and maintain a wide range of systems including:
- Automated Weather Observation Systems (AWOS), to measure and broadcast airport weather
- Solar systems for the support of aids noted above
- Radio navigation systems, such as VOR, DME, ILS, NDB, and related Instrument Approach Procedure design including GPS
- Radio communications, transmitting and receiving equipment operating on any frequency band, and satellite ground stations
- Electronic support equipment such as CCTV, antennae, and fold-over towers
